The ray florets are broad, scarcely revolute or involute along their length (longitudinal axis), generally flat or slightly twisted and usually bluntly pointed

Large-Flowered Decorative Dahlias have blooms usually between 8" (203mm) and 10" (254mm) in diameter

Medium-Flowered Decorative Dahlias have blooms usually between 6" (152mm) and 8" (203mm) in diameter

Small-Flowered Decorative Dahlias have blooms usually between 4" (102mm) and 6" (152mm) in diameter

Miniature-Flowered Decorative Dahlias have blooms not usually exceeding 4" (102mm) in diameter
